Village Clean-Up!

Meet in Llanpumsaint Memorial Hall Car Park at 10am.We will provide hi-viz vests, black bags and rings to keep them strong and easier to hold and litter-pickers. Please bring your own gloves and any of the equipment mentioned above that you may own already. All ages welcome but children under 16 need to have a responsible adult with them – remember there aren’t many pavements here! You don’t have to carry it all back to the Hall as it will be picked up on the day wherever you leave it. Please let Carolyn Smethurst 01267253308 know if you will be coming so that we can allocate areas etc.

  1. hello , at present I am considering a move into this area. could you tell me, do your walks include doggy walkers, if not, are there many walks / footpaths for doggy walkers in Llanpumsaint ?

  2. Hi, sorry for the tardiness, only just noticed. We have a lot of dog walkers in Llanpumsaint, however the roads are very busy and there are little or no pavements. Dogs must be kept on leads and although we have a park, it is for children’s activities mainly and dogs are banned. However, outside of Llanpumsaint there are country areas but this is an rural area with many farms, so dogs must be controlled near fields. Most people take their dogs to the forestry, a short drive out of the village. Sounds a bit forbidding but as said before there are many dog owners here and they are very happy :-)
