Welcome to Llanpumsaint
Llanpumsaint is an attractive rural village in the heart of Carmarthenshire, situated almost halfway between Carmarthen Town and Newcastle Emlyn in the beautiful Gwili Valley.
"Llan" church/parish + "pum" five + "saint" saint(s) straddles the River Gwili at the confluence of the Nant Cwm-cerwyni and Nant Aeron tributaries. It has a population of 730, nearly half of whom are Welsh speakers (ONS Census 2021) and also encompasses the neighbouring hamlet of Nebo, the spiritual community and temple at Skanda Vale and a number of family farms.
Although it currently doesn't have a pub or shop, the community is well served by a number of mobile services such as a Post Office, Library, Vet, Greengrocer and Bakery and numerous regular events and pub nights are held at the Memorial Hall.
