Laugharne Walk

This is the walk we had to cancel on Saturday 16th June due to bad weather. This time the weather was really good and the sun shone down on us ‘righteous’ exercisers!

It was a fairly easy walk in Laugharne using the route from ‘Weatherman Walking’. About 4.5 miles, historic town, estuary, castle and woods. Some less hardy souls dropped away at the halfway point in Laugharne, because the thought of a ‘brew’ seemed to be more attractive, especially when accompanied by doughnuts, with the stunning views of Laugharne castle as a backdrop. The others went on for the last half-hour and then joined us for a natter and a cuppa in the sunshine. This is a great walk if you’re a bit ‘dodgy on your pins’!
